Q: How long does it take to deliver a text message?

Text messages are usually delivered to mobile phones in a few seconds. There could be a short delay. Longer delays may occur if recipient's phone is turned off or out of the coverage area.

When this happens a carrier will attempt to deliver your message for up to 72 hours.

Q: Do all phones receive messages from short codes?

First, please make sure that the recipient has text messaging enabled with their carrier. If your recipient uses a pre-paid mobile phone service, his/her balance may be too. Some pre-paid providers do not allow messages from short codes. Other reasons that a recipient may not receive a text message may include memory full, out of network, and a number typed incorrectly.

Yes. Instead of selecting a group of contacts, enter a single telephone number when you compose your message.

Q: How many characters may I include in a text message?

A standard text message is limited to 160 characters. Characters means letters, numbers, spaces, symbols and punctuation.

A Keyword is a unique term (letters and/or numbers) that people can use to communicate with you through a short code.

Q: Which keyword can I have?

As long as the Keyword you want is available, you can rent it from us. You can use any combination of letters and numbers.

Q: How do Keywords work?

You purchase/rent the Keyword "Company" from our short code. Your customers can send a message containing the Keyword "Company" to our short code to join your messaging list. Our platform will respond to them on your behalf, with a customizable message, confirming that they have Opted-In to your Group SMS list.
